Responsible for Choices
Being accountable means being completely responsible for what one chooses. Accountability is connected to us all through rules of society and establishments. Airlines really don’t want passengers to vape or smoke. Most of society looks down on drinking and driving. We are free to choose to vape or smoke on an airline, or drink then drive, but we are not free to choose how we are accountable to those choices.
Accountability is everywhere. It is necessary for individual growth, relationships, and success. When students at Cloud Peak Academy use their Individualized Learning Plans, they will be putting to paper their goals. This is one way teachers and counselors will hold students accountable.
Being held accountable can motivate us to complete a task. We feel this will help us live our mission to help students achieve success. Another way Cloud Peak Academy will hold students accountable is with our School-Parent-Student Contract.
