The list of people with integrity could go on and on. Their actions are inspiring and uplifting. People who are honest and moral naturally attract others who are honest and moral. 

At Cloud Peak Academy we value integrity. It creates an environment of trust. So how do we teach students to have integrity? How can we measure if they do?

In this case, actions speak volumes. When a student is reliable and lives up to the School-Parent-Student Contract (pictured here), they show integrity. When a student stops doing something they shouldn’t be doing, they show integrity. When students are honest with themselves, they show integrity.

Teachers measure integrity mostly by observation and they teach integrity mostly by example. When reviewing an ILP, the student will have the opportunity to self-assess. This gives the student the chance to be honest with him/herself.
